This is a new version with Cameron's room on the main level.
After all the discussion about where Cameron's bedroom is in the first version of the Connor house layout that I did, I've revised it to incorporate her room on the first floor. I had to do some maneuvering to get it to fit the space, but I think it works okay. And of course, what revision would be complete without a little tinkering? So I've made other adjustments as well.
As before, let me know if you have any questions about the layout or think something is wrong. The images are all the same, just different sizes. Take your pick:
Connor House Layout v2: 700x464 png
Connor House Layout v2: 900x597 png
Connor House Layout v2: 1300x862 png
Continuity Notes:
In terms of interior/exterior appearance, you'll find discrepancies on the front porch side of the house. From the inside, Sarah's bedroom wall (opposite the bed) has three windows. From the outside, there are only two. Also, the entrance on that side has a single stained-glass door from the inside, but solid double doors from the outside. I went with the interior views of those things for building the layout since that's what we see more often.

Yeah I was surprised that there was only one bathroom, but that's all we've seen. Sarah in the tub in "The Turk" and Derek brushing his teeth and showering in "Vicks' Chip"... it's all in the same bathroom. There could be a second one upstairs (if we ever see the upstairs). Otherwise, one bathroom is all they've got.
I have 6 siblings and 4 of us were in high school at the same time. We were not allowed to use Daddy's bathroom
Yikes! I only have one bathroom in my house and at our fullest, we had 5 people living here. Morning bathroom time had to be scheduled, but it worked out okay because everyone left for work at staggered times.
The establishing shot of Sarah in the tub starts from a few feet inside Cameron's room, rolls forward to the doorframe then cuts to the close-up of Sarah. Before that cut, you catch a glimpse of the wide intersection of hallways. You can see the pillars up past the bathroom on the right that separate the dining room from the living room, the 2 open doorways that lead right, to the foyer, and the hallway leading left down to John's room. The bathroom is straight across from the camera's position.
One thing I know I don't have quite right is the length of the tub. It should actually be more visible in the doorway than I've shown it. But trying to layout the house from the glimpses we get, drawing furnishings by just a visual scale, and using lines that don't accurately account for the thickness of walls, things are out of whack by a few feet here and there. It think it's all pretty close, though.
